DIRAUX Website News
12/06/2007 Upgraded the WebCalendar software. New interface should be easier for members to navigate and manage their calendar entries. Reminders can now be set up for members and non-members.
08/23/2007 Revisiting the DIRAUX customer service standards
The DIRAUX staff want to make sure that members know they are welcome to come into their DIRAUX office at any time whether to conduct business (check mail box, log into the computer, do mailings, etc.), have a cup of coffee, or to just say Aloha! We want to see you!

The purpose of our customer service standard is to provide you the highest customer satisfaction we possibly can. We are only asking members who have specific business with a DIRAUX staff member (i.e. ID cards, finger prints, gear issue, etc.) to make an appointment so we ensure that that particular staff member is present and gives you their undivided attention for your best customer satisfaction.

Our open door policy to the membership has and will always be so that you can come into the DIRAUX office to conduct business and share in fellowship with our staff. We always have coffe, tea, water and sometimes snacks. So please pass the word that the DIRAUX office is not behind closed doors.

Mahalo!

07/03/2007 Sorry folks, but the Calendar was becoming a management nightmare by allowing public access to post events. I was getting anywhere from a few to nearly 25 spam postings per day. In order to post events to the WebCalendar you will need to log in with your member number as the user name and your last name (IN UPPERCASE LETTERS). Anyone can still view the calendar events without having to log in.
06/26/2007 Please check out the America's Waterway Watch website. All flotillas should be passing out literature to the boating public at any boat safety displays, ramp watches or public education/public affiars events. All public education courses should be showing the 5 minute AWW video that can be downloaded from the AWW web site. http://www.americaswaterwaywatch.org.
06/26/2007 Posted Auxiliary Personell Allowance List (AUXPAL) that shows which units have position vacancies where they would like to have volunteers working. You can find the list for the D14 area here.
06/06/2007 Posted updated ICS guidance document from Chief Director. You can view it here.
06/01/2007 New DIRAUX customer service standards went into effect on May 1, 2007. All members wishing to conduct business at the DIRAUX office are requested to make an appointment. The purpose of making an appointment is to ensure that we have parking available for you, and the staff member you need to see is also available. We have had a few situations where members have arrived and parking wasn't available, or the staff member was not available. Please make your appointments at least 2 days prior to the time you want to come in. We really want to ensure you get the best customer service possible. One other change is that all newsletters need to be submitted at least 2 weeks (or 10 business days) prior to your publishing date. This ensures all staff members at DIRAUX has had an opportunity to review your newsletter and get it back to you in time for your publishing date. This in no way means that it will take 10 business days, but should a staff member be away on temporary duty, attending training, etc. we can get them to review the newsletter upon their return.
